Proud…:)

Although, I don’t like to talk too personally on my blog - this one sends me beaming, and I just had to post it…

I’m the youth leader of the Open Arms Youth Group.  It’s a small group of youth and all strong but silent type.  Well, they are taking Valentine’s Day to the limit!

They have begun planning a Haiti Fundraising Campaign, “We Love Haiti” for February 13th and 14th.  They will be busy creating and they hope to use my shop to feature some of their wares.  They will also be hosting a bake sale, as well.

I’m so proud of them all!  Yeah!

Details will follow…

10% for Haiti

We will be donating 10% of all sales to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund through the Salvation Army.

Thank you for your support.

Used Book Sale

Clean out those book shelves and help me out - drop your used books at the shop to help me raise money for Haiti.  Selling them for $1 each and all proceeds donated to Haiti through the Salvation Army.

Thanks for your support.

Helping Haiti

Well, listening to alot of news about Haiti and tuning into CBC, I landed a position to help take donation over the phone for the Salvation Army National.  It seems like so little, but I hope I can be of assistance.

Just some renos

Please bear with us as we start the new year with some renos.  Just making more sense of the space…sorry for the dust everyone.  Can’t wait ’til it’s finished!
